A Hilarious Comedy by Ron Clark
April 11 through June 16, 2012
If you have absolutely no interest in living in a retirement home when you get old, this play may change your mind!
The people who live here are very, very funny (not funny because of the usual rather stale jokes about not being able to remember things). They are funny because the author, Ron Clark, has written very real, very funny, full-of-life characters. These characters fall in love, fall out of love, fight and argue with each other; but agree that the food isn't as good as "mother used to make." They are also each other's very best and very loyal friends.
We're not saying you will go home and try to make an advance reservation in a retirement home, but if you could be sure of meeting the characters in this play, you just might want to.
"A Bench in the Sun" takes place in Valley View Gardens, a senior residence.
